How do I measure for a storm door?
Measure the width between the brick moulding at the top, middle and bottom, and the height from the sill to the underside of the head on both sides. Bring all five numbers.
Retractable or interchangeable screen?
A retractable screen rolls away inside the door when you do not need it. An interchangeable door swaps a glass panel for a screen panel by season, and you will need somewhere to store the panel you are not using.
Which Larson storm doors have a multi-point lock?
Secure Elegance and the Platinum Series both lock at three points. Secure Elegance also has KeepSafe laminated glass.
Can the hinge go on either side?
Most Larson doors use REVERSA-HINGE, so the hinge can be mounted left or right. We will confirm it for the model you choose.
Do you install?
We do not install, but we supply the trade that does and can recommend installers working locally.
