Which Trex lines do you sell?
All six decking lines: Enhance, Select, Transcend, Transcend Lineage, Signature and Refuge PVC, plus Trex railing. Some colours are stocked and the rest are ordered in.
What is the difference between the tiers?
Durability, scratch resistance, colour range and price. Enhance (25-year warranty) is the entry line, Select (35-year) the middle, and Transcend, Lineage and Signature (50-year) the top. Signature is the most scratch-resistant.
Does Trex get hot in the sun?
All decking gets hot in direct summer sun, especially darker colours. Transcend Lineage and some Enhance colours use SunComfortable technology, which Trex says reduces heat build-up by up to 35°F against its original boards.
Can I mix Select boards with other lines?
No. Select boards are slightly thinner than the other Trex lines, and Trex advises against mixing them because of the trip hazard.
Can I take a sample home?
Yes. Pick up free samples at the counter and look at them against your house in your own light.
Do you install?
We do not install, but we supply local deck builders and can point you to them.
