STIHL Dealer in Manalapan, NJ
STIHL is sold only through servicing dealers. Not a big box, not a website — a counter with parts, chains and someone who can put a saw right.

A dealer, not a shelf
STIHL does not sell through the big boxes, and that is the point. Our floor carries the saws, trimmers and blowers assembled and fuelled for demonstration, with chains, bars, filters and oil behind the counter. When something goes wrong in three years, the same counter puts it right.
STIHL lines we carry
Stock status is honest. Call the counter and we will confirm what is on the floor today.

From the MS 170 for firewood and storm clean-up to professional saws for people who cut for a living.

FS Trimmers & brushcutters
Straight and curved shaft trimmers, plus brushcutters for anything a trimmer line will not touch.

Handheld and backpack blowers, from tidying a driveway to clearing an acre of leaves in the autumn.

AK & AP Battery system
The battery platform — quieter, no mixing fuel, and genuinely capable for suburban property work.

Every saw and trimmer here is set up and running before it goes home with you.
Get DirectionsWhy buy STIHL at Millhurst
Honest about the alternative. These are the things a website cannot do.
Dealer-only brand
STIHL is not sold in the big boxes or on the major marketplaces. Buying it means walking into a dealer, and that is deliberate on their part.
Set up before it leaves
Fuelled, chain tensioned, started and run on the counter. You take home a working saw, not a carton.
Service behind the counter
When it will not start in year three, the people who sold it to you fix it. That relationship is the whole reason the brand works this way.
Chain sharpening and looping
Bring dull chains in for sharpening, or have chain looped to length for your bar.
Parts on the shelf
Filters, plugs, bars, chains and oil in stock, so a Saturday breakdown does not cost you the weekend.
Honest sizing
Most people buy more saw than they need. Tell us what you cut and we will tell you where to stop spending.

STIHL questions we get at the counter
Asked at the counter, answered here.
Why can I not buy STIHL at a big box store?
STIHL sells through servicing dealers only. The company takes the view that the products need setting up, servicing and supporting by people who know them, and that a shelf in a warehouse store cannot do that.
Do you assemble and start the saw before I take it?
Yes, always. It is fuelled, the chain is tensioned, and it is run on the counter before it goes anywhere.
Do you service and repair STIHL equipment?
Yes, in house. Bring it to the counter and we will look at it. We also carry the common wear parts so straightforward jobs do not wait on an order.
Can you sharpen my chains?
Yes. Bring the chains in. We can also loop chain to length for your bar.
Which chainsaw should I buy?
For firewood and storm clean-up on a suburban lot, an MS 170 or MS 251 is plenty. Farm Boss for regular felling on acreage. Professional saws are for people cutting daily. Tell us what you cut and how often.
Is the battery range any good?
For suburban property work, genuinely yes — quieter, no fuel mixing, less maintenance. For felling and all-day work, gas still wins on run time and power.
What fuel and oil should I use?
STIHL two-stroke oil at the specified mix ratio, with fresh fuel. Most of the equipment we see for repair has stale or wrongly mixed fuel in it. Ask at the counter.
Do you carry safety gear?
Yes — chaps, helmets with face and ear protection, and gloves. If you are buying a chainsaw, buy the chaps.

We will pull it and hold it for 48 hours.
