Which Atrium window should I choose?
For most replacements, the Series 8300 double hung is the value choice and the 8700 is the step up. For open walls, use a new-construction series with a nailing fin, such as the 450 double hung or the 150 single hung.
Single hung or double hung?
In a single hung only the bottom sash moves, and it costs less. In a double hung both sashes move and tilt in for cleaning, which is easier on upper floors.
How do I measure a replacement window?
Measure the width inside the frame at the top, middle and bottom, and the height at the left, centre and right. Give us the smallest width and the smallest height.
Can I get grids?
Yes. On many Atrium series the grids sit between the panes of glass, so they never need cleaning.
Do you install?
We do not install, but we supply the trade that does and can recommend installers working locally.
